As people tries to aim to shoot the distant bright stars, would it be far different if you'd hit the moon? To think, the moon appears bigger than the stars, easier to reach without any hassles and all.
I believe that, people should be thankful, although aimed for the stars. had hit the moon than missed everything. Sigh.
